The golf team continued their success by winning the sectional golf tournament at The Elms golf course in Massillon, Ohio. The team advances to the district golf tournament next week.

eam Successes: *** 1st place finish at the Sharon Kline Invitational last Wednesday. *** 2nd place finish at the Mapleton Moonlight Invitational last Saturday. David Byler’s Successes: *** 2nd place overall in the Sharon Kline Invitational. *** 2nd place overall finish at the Mapleton Moonlight Invitational. *** Set a new personal record for himself with a 16:16.3 at the Mapleton Moonlight Invitational beating his previous best by nearly 50 seconds. Golden Bear golf continues to be off to a hot start with a league win over Dalton at The Pine Golf Club. Waynedale 164 Dalton 169 The Bears play Chippewa Thursday at Riceland Golf Course.
