Bears 5-0 at Home
The Golden Bear wrestling team competed in a histroic annual Waynedale duals on saturday in Apple Creek. Making the tournament special were the variety of teams that attended. Three teams coming to Waynedale for the first time. Newcomerstown, Elmwood, Massillon Jackson, Maysville, Biglerville, PA. Waynedale- 65 Newcomerstown (OHSAA D3) – 9 Waynedale- 52 Massillon Jackson (OHSAA D1) – 18 Waynedale- 42 Biglersville, PA – 18 Waynedale- 66 Elmwood (OHSAA D3)- 6 Waynedale- 51 Maysville (OHSAA D2)-13 Isaak Skelly capped of a 5-0 day and notched his 100th win of his career.

Raber Enters New Role at Tiffin
Josiah Raber enters his fourth season playing football at Tiffin. A redshirt junior, he is happy to have earned a bigger role on the GMAC giants offense this year as a wide receiver. He is still playing a pivotal on special teams for the dragons as well. I will graduate with my bachelor’s in accounting after this fall semester. I am undecided on if I will pursue my masters degree or if I will enter the workforce. I plan to start my accounting career with hopes to be a coach as well. Golf Wins Sectional Tournament

Alumni Spotlight: Barkman transfers seeking opportunity
Fall 2025 — Golden Bear alumni Trey Barkman enters his junior campaign in college baseball. Recently, he has played for the Bobcats of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Due to a coaching change at OU, Barkman chose to transfer to pursue new opportunities on the field. Trey has transferred to Northwestern Oklahoma State University to compete for the Rangers. The business management major hopes to graduate in the spring of 2027 following his final season competing on the NCAA level. After graduation, Trey plans to work alongside his grandfather designing and planning home building at S&S. The right handed pitcher…
